After initially spending several years painting I was feeling that my artwork was somehow unfulfilled and recalled when studying how much I enjoyed a more tactile, 3-dimensional outcome. I engaged in stone masonry and my love for working in the rough was reborn.

My sculptures are a creation of a story I have to tell, where I seek and adhere objects to create a sensory experience both visually, aesthetically and through touch in my art. Referred to as low-relief sculptures, they are designed to be viewed firstly from afar so to reveal themselves as you come closer and on careful inspection find hidden treasures to delight the viewer and fulfill the story.
